Ⅰ. Applicable Terms and Condition Descriptions

1. Definition of transfer passengers eligible for interline transfer services in Fuzhou:

(1) The connecting tickets must be issued by Xiamen Airlines under the same ticket number or the same booking record;

(2) The actual carriers must all be Xiamen Airlines; code-shared or charter flights are not eligible for the corresponding transfer services.

(3) Passengers certified by Xiamen Airlines to have self-care ability. Interline transfer services for connecting flights are temporarily not available for passengers who require special services, such as unaccompanied minors and unaccompanied senior citizens. Minors under the age of 16 shall apply for interline transfer services accompanied by adult relatives.

2. Interline services

(1) Explanation of Same-Day and Next-Day transferring at Xiamen Airlines Fuzhou Hub Base

A. Definition of Operational Day: To ensure the rational allocation of operational resources, Xiamen Airlines Fuzhou Hub Base defines a 24-hour period from 05:00 to 04:59 of the following day as the same operational day.

B. Same-Day transfer: A same-day transfer is defined as when the scheduled arrival time of the passenger's first flight at the transfer airport and the scheduled departure time of the connecting flight both fall within the same operational day.

C. Next-Day transfer: A next-day transfer occurs when the scheduled arrival time of the passenger's first flight at the transferring airport and the scheduled departure time of the connecting flight fall within two consecutive operational days, respectively.

D. Definition Applicability: The above definitions and explanations apply only to Xiamen Airlines flights at the Fuzhou hub base and are not applicable to other airports. All subsequent references to "same-day" or "next-day" flights in these rules shall be interpreted in accordance with the above definitions.

(2) Quick Reference for Through-Check Service Airports Available

【Domestic-domestic】

For passengers starting from domestic airports and connecting on a same day to a domestic flight actually operated by Xiamen Airlines, the "through check-in services" has been launched. For passengers who have completed the relevant services, please remain inside the domestic transfer area upon arrival in Fuzhou and proceed directly to the onward-flight gate. The actual handling shall be subject to the regulations of the airport originating.

【Domestic-international/regional】

Changchun, Dalian, Harbin, Haikou, Hangzhou, Jinan, Kunming, Nanjing, Nanning, Qingdao, Shenyang, Taiyuan, Tianjin, Wuhan, Xi’an, Xining, Xiamen, Yinchuan, Zhengzhou, Liuzhou, Chengdu-Tianfu, Lanzhou, Mudanjiang, Shenzhen, Zhoushan, Nanchong, Mianyang, Lianyungang, Yuncheng, Guiyang, Zhongwei, Guyuan, Nantong, Wuxi, Yan’an, Hengyang, Hohhot.

For passengers starting from any of the above airports and connecting on a same day to an international/regional flight actually operated by Xiamen Airlines, "the through check-in baggage" service has been launched. Upon arrival in Fuzhou, proceed to the Xiamen Airlines international check-in counter to reprint your boarding pass for the international/regional flight. There is no need to reclaim checked baggage and then check it in again.

Beijing Daxing, Shanghai Hongqiao, Guangzhou, Wuyishan, Urumqi, Luzhou, Hefei, Zhuhai, Guilin, Chongqing, Changsha

For passengers starting from any of the above airports and connecting on a same day to an international/regional flight actually operated by Xiamen Airlines, "the through check-in services" has been launched. Upon arrival in Fuzhou, please complete exit formalities at the designated time and then go to the boarding gate to wait for your onward flight. There is no need to reclaim checked baggage and go through check-in again.

【International/Regional-International/Regional】

New York, Tokyo, Osaka, Seoul, Jeju, Kuala Lumpur, Bali, Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, Taipei-Taoyuan China, Taipei-Songshan China, Kaohsiung China, Hong Kong China, Macau China, Okinawa, Phnom Penh, Vientiane, Hanoi, Nagoya.

For passengers starting from any of the above airports and connecting on a same day to an international/regional flight actually operated by Xiamen Airlines, "the through check-in services" has been launched. Passengers can handle the boarding pass and baggage tag for the connecting flight at the originating airport. Upon arrival in Fuzhou, there is no need to reclaim checked baggage and go through check-in again.

【International/regional-domestic】

Passengers can handle the boarding pass and baggage tag for the connecting flight at the originating airport. Upon arrival in Fuzhou, there is no need to reclaim checked baggage and go through check-in again.

After completing customs entry procedures, please proceed to the "Transfer holding area for connecting passengers" and contact our staff for "customs clearance reconfirmation" of your checked baggage.

4. Gentle reminders

(1) Passengers on outbound journeys are advised to check the entry policies of their destination countries in advance, prepare the required documents, and submit them for review via Xiamen Airlines' document pre-screening platform. Passengers shall bear full responsibility for any inability to travel due to issues with their documents or materials.

(2) Minimum connection time:

Check-in deadline: Domestic flights: 30 minutes before departure; international/regional flights: 45 minutes before departure.

(4) The boarding gate will close 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time of the flight;

(5) For better interline transfer services, please keep your boarding pass for your preceding flight segment.
