Xiamen Airlines Opens New Direct Flights Between Fuzhou and South Korea

As the Spring Festival approaches, Xiamen Airlines planned to open new direct flights between Fuzhou and Seoul and Jeju in South Korea to enrich travelling options for passengers.

Starting January 24, 2024, Xiamen Airlines operate two flights between Fuzhou and Jeju on Wednesdays and Sundays, departing Fuzhou at 16:55 and arriving in Jeju at 19:50, with return flights between 20:50 and 21:55. Starting January 31, there is one flight per day between Fuzhou and Seoul, departing Fuzhou at 13:55 and arriving in Seoul at 17:10, with return flights between 18:10 and 19:55 (all times above are local times).

The two flights offer limited-time special fares: round-trip from Fuzhou/Xiamen to Seoul from RMB 1,640 including tax; and round-trip from Fuzhou/Xiamen to Seoul from other cities in China from RMB 1,580 including tax.

Meanwhile, Xiamen Airlines offers free transit accommodation to eligible passengers. Passengers travelling on Xiamen Airlines international and regional connecting flights can apply for free transit accommodation if they are in transit in Fuzhou and the transit time is between 6 and 24 hours. In other words, if passengers are travelling from Fuzhou to South Korea, they can enjoy free transit hotel accommodation in Fuzhou if they meet the requirements.

The opening of the Fuzhou-Seoul and Fuzhou-Jeju flights not only meets the strong demand for travel, but also deepens economic and trade exchanges, cultural exchanges, and people's emotional exchanges between China and Northeast Asia. Besides, Xiamen Airlines will also plan to launch a Korea travel entitlement card package in conjunction with the Korea Tourism Organization, bringing rich and affordable travel entitlements to passengers.
