Refund and Correction Rules for Incorrectly Booked Tickets
If you have entered incorrect information due to personal reasons while purchasing Xiamen Airlines (731)-validated tickets, we will correct such errors upon verification of the necessary information according to the following rules:
I. Free Correction to Chinese Name Input Errors
If there are reasonable errors in your Chinese name on your ticket, such as name repetition, rare character errors, homophones, or similar-looking character errors, you may contact Xiamen Airlines Customer Service Center at 95557 for correction.
II. Free Correction to English Name or ID Information Input Errors
If there are the following reasonable errors in your English name or ID information on your ticket, you may contact Xiamen Airlines Customer Service Center at 95557 or Xiamen Airlines' overseas direct sales offices for correction.

III. Other Free Correction Items for Name Input Errors
(I) If the Chinese name on your ticket is correct but there are individual digit errors in the ID information, you may contact the original office of purchase, Xiamen Airlines Customer Service Center at 95557, or any of Xiamen Airlines' domestic or overseas direct sales offices for correction. Once the ID information has been changed, we will no longer support changing the name on your ticket. Please understand.
(II) If the ID information on your ticket is correct but the name is incorrect due to differences in phonetic spelling conventions in different regions (such as changing the Hong Kong/Taiwan phonetic spelling CHU/HUNG CHANG to the Hanyu Pinyin ZHU/HONG ZHANG), or if your ticket is a Xiamen Airlines (731)-validated ticket but contains a connecting flight or code-shared flight not operated by Xiamen Airlines, due to reservation system limitations, we cannot directly change it for you. Please repurchase a ticket consistent with the original itinerary (price difference may be required), cancel the original ticket seat, and apply for a free refund from the original ticketing office after travel.
IV. Free Refund for Duplicate Tickets
If your ticket contains the following reasonable error scenarios, you may contact Xiamen Airlines' own direct sales institutions or the Customer Service Center at 95557 for refund.
(I)The name and ID number in the reservation record of Xiamen Airlines (731)-validated tickets are consistent and no changes have been made.
(II) The refund application for the duplicate ticket must be submitted no later than 4 hours (inclusive) before the scheduled departure time of the flight, and the seat of the duplicate ticket must be canceled.
(III) The first ticket purchased shall be used, while a free refund shall be applied for the other duplicate tickets (excluding mileage-award tickets).
(IV) Tickets issued for courtesy or free transportation are excluded.
V. Notes
(I) If you have purchased a group ticket, the above Articles I, II, and III (I) are applicable. Please contact Xiamen Airlines Customer Service Center at 95557 for correction. Article IV above is not applicable.
(II) Each passenger is only allowed to process one free correction. Only one of the name or ID information can be modified at a time. If one item has already been changed, we will no longer support changing the content of the other items. Please understand.
(III) In accordance with the safety flight regulations of the U.S. and Canadian governments, if your ticket involves flights to or from the U.S. or Canada, we will not be able to change the name or ID information within 72 hours before the scheduled departure time of the flight. Your ticket shall be processed according to the voluntary correction and refund rules.
(IV) If your ticket is a government-procured ticket (indicated by the "GP" mark on the ticket), in accordance with the relevant regulations on the purchase and management of such tickets, we will not be able to change the name or ID information. Please contact the original issuing office and follow the voluntary refund rules.
(V) Please check the ticket information carefully when purchasing to ensure the accuracy of the name and ID number, departure location, destination, travel date, flight number, and cabin class, etc., to avoid any inconvenience during travel. If your ticket contains errors beyond the scope described in the above terms, your ticket shall be processed according to the voluntary correction and refund rules.
(VI) If you request to correct the erroneous information, we will handle it properly for you based on the actual situation. The specific service and processing will be subject to the final reply from Xiamen Airlines.
